This 30‑second PSA was created to raise awareness about a real nonprofit cause and encourage viewers to take action. The project required combining visuals, narration/titles, and a clear message within a very tight time limit. Even though this assignment challenged me, the final piece communicates the core idea and follows the required PSA structure.

I handled all aspects of production, including planning the message, shooting all footage with the VJ kit, recording audio, and editing the final 30‑second piece. I set up the tripod, adjusted white balance, aperture, and focus for each shot, and made sure I captured enough usable footage from different angles and focal lengths. I also wrote and recorded the voiceover (or created the titles), added the call‑to‑action, and edited the project using proper transitions and timing.

I struggled with this project because fitting a full message into exactly 30 seconds was harder than I expected. I learned how important it is to plan the script tightly and shoot more footage than I think I need. I also realized how much the PSA depends on matching visuals to the message, not just collecting random shots.

The strongest part of this PSA is the clarity of the call‑to‑action and how the visuals support the message. Even with the challenges, the final piece feels purposeful and communicates what it needs to.

If I could revise it, I would spend more time planning the shot list so the visuals feel even more intentional. I’d also work on smoothing out the audio levels and pacing to make the message flow more naturally.
